Golf Course
Designed by historic renowned Architect Seth Raynor in 1924, the golf course is situated on 147 acres of gently rolling terrain above the great Minnesota River Valley. The MVCC course features, naturalized fescue areas, open space and over 1,000 mature trees. Raynor designed MVCC as a classic golf masterpiece emulating the most famous golf holes of Europe from the earliest days of golf.
In the fall of 2017, MVCC completed a full bunker renovation which included modification to some of the greens. The project has significantly increased the Seth Raynor footprint.
Excitement about the renovation is so high that Golf Digest will be sending 25 panelists to play MVCC in 2018 for consideration in the “Golf Digest Best Courses In Minnesota” rankings!
Golfers of all levels will experience an exceptional golf course and greens which are widely considered to be the best maintained in Minnesota.
The par 73 course is challenging and fun for all levels of players, with four sets of tee markers on each hole, offering total distances of 5207, 5678, 6416, and 6736 yards. The course rewards accuracy and demands strategy on all approach shots. Staying below the hole is always a good idea at "The Valley"
