Junior Golf School

Developing junior golfers is a rich tradition at MVCC. Stacey Christensen is the Director of Instruction at Minnesota Valley Country Club.  He is a member of the PGA and has over 20 years of teaching experience.  He was voted Teacher of the Year in 2012 by the Minnesota PGA and has been voted Top Teachers in Minnesota from Golf Digest in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

The Junior Valley Golf School is designed to provide juniors with quality fundamental instruction necessary to develop junior golfers.  Throughout the week, Stacey Christensen and the other Instructors will address all phases of the golf swing, including instruction on woods, irons, putting, chipping, and sand play.  Rules and etiquette along with sportsmanship will be stressed throughout the week.

Our goal for the week is to introduce and improve the game of golf to juniors in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.  The game can be hard enough, so let's have some fun while learning!  Golf is a game for a lifetime that instills confidence, sportsmanship, and values. 

2018 Junior Valley School Dates:
Monday, June 25 thru Thursday, June 28
Drop off 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., instruction is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
